Rear Control Arm Replacement, Bushing or Arm?
I have a clunk coming from the rear, and once under there determined my rear upper arms are definitely on their last legs. Looking at parts stores though, not many have the upper arms but almost all have the bushing. Can I just replace the bushing and call it a day? I know I have to lower the subframe to get them out and they're press in, but that'll still save me some cash. Thanks in advance.

My 2 cents (for what it's worth) - I'd go ahead and replace the arms while you're at it. It might be a little more work or cause some headaches now, but will add some reassurance (and safety) and save you from chasing squeaks and clunks in the future, anyways...

Might even be less work to just change them. I don't really know what they look like but to me it seems like the bearing is the only wear part isn't it? The rest would just be a metal arm which wouldn't cause any issues.. Idk. Others please chime in!

I'm experiencing the same thing - pulled the wheel off several times and pushed/pulled on every suspension part I could move to look for anything that moved. The only movement I could find was the upper control arm.
After looking at the assembly, I'm not sure how I would get to the inner bolt of the arm, things are packed in pretty tight there.
I'm going to try just replacing the outer bushing - let me know what you do and how well it worked.
