Performance & Appearance Mod Q's

Performance & Appearance Mod Q's
I just bought an '08 A4 2.0T and love it, but it's not as sporty as I'd like... it's only got the fake s-line package (just the badging). I'd like to get more power out of it, while also getting a sportier look.
1. Does anyone know where I can get a 3 spoke s-line steering wheel w/radio controls that I can swap out for my 4 spoke wheel? Anybody sell these besides the dealer and eBay? Also, does anyone know how to do a steering wheel swap... what all is involved?
2. What are the best newer replica RS4 wheels I can buy? I've seen quite a few companies that make them, but don't want to get stuck with crap.
3. What can I do, other than chipping it, to get more power without completely permanently voiding the warranty.
I'd would appreciate any help anyone can give me... I'm kinda new to all this mod stuff.

Exhaust and front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) will give you some small performance gains, but nothing like a chip will. You may also want to consider springs or coil-overs to lower the ride height to look better, and a rear sway bar to make handling better through turns.

chipped is easily the best way to cheaply gain power
if you are worried about voiding the warranty then you could check out GAIC or another company that will allow you to switch between stock and performance mode, you can switch it to stock mode when you get it serviced and GIAC claims that the dealer cannot detect any of their software mods

1) don't try the steering wheel mod if u don;t know what ur doing.....it involves taking apart the dash, fooling around with airbag sensors and wires, and then you have to run all the wires that control the radio and what not back into the factory stereo settings....expect it to take you about 3-4 hours
2) wheels are wheels, you will not get stuck with crappy wheels they will only be heavier then the real rs4 wheel, also you may need a spacer or two which will run you about 30 bucks,
3)try a search bar if u scroll down about 2 inches on this site you will see that there is about 3,080,628 posts about chipping your car and gaining performance out of every nook and cranny of your engine
3b) you will not void your warranty by chipping your car, if something fails on your car and can be linked to the fact that you chipped your car then the dealership reserves the right to not fix that part under warranty, however if u chip your car and your windshield explodes (hypothetically) they must replace it under warranty
mmk pumpkin?

Thanks dmfan016.
The posts all over this site about a steering wheel swap make it sound like it is simply 1. unplug wires, 2. remove wheel, 3. mount new wheel, 4. plug wires into new wheel. Have you swapped a steering wheel before?
Thanks again.
