Default P0171, P0507

Hi, I have a 2005 Audi A4 2.0T

I downloaded these codes using an OBDII

P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
P0507 Idle Control System RPM High

Any idea what the fix might be?

Thanks all.

well whatever they are, I went ahead and deleted them (turning off the check engine light). I want to force the light on again and download the codes to be sure they are the right ones.

after driving about a week, the light finally came back on. i read in a few posts thatP0171 might be the MAF sensor. the reason i created a new post was because i also had the P0507. they recommended i clean the MAF sensorbefore replacing it so i did thatand cleaned out the air filter. i returned the scanner so i had to clear the light by disconnecting the battery.

does anyone think the 507 might be caused by the 171?
