new A4 owner - stupid questions
I just purchased a really nice '06 A4 quatro cab in Ohio US! Just to clarify: Is the cab is a B7 just like the other models built in 2006 correct?
The car did not come with an owners manual, and this being my first german car there are lots of buttons and messages that I don't know. I want to get the correct factory manual or find where one is posted on line.
Also the car didn't come with floor mats . I want to make sure I'm getting the correct size (i want factory) I see the rubber ones and some carpet ones. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't like the silver trim I see on the carpet ones but not sure if I want the rubber ones.
Are there any huge signifiacan differences between the US model and the EU versions that i should know. I get the feeling these forums are pretty international.
Out of curiousity: where are they built?

Welcome!
The car is built in Germany,of Austrian,German parts.I believe the mats are standard. If you are in Northern Ohio,I would invest in some Weather Tech rubber/composite mats.
My car came with them and I leave them in year round.(My car doesn't have floor mats either.)They look good and are fitted so they look like they belong in the car.
The double insulated top on your Cabriolet will leave the cold outside the cabin.
You will enjoy the Quattro,it's ALOT of fun in the winter!

If your front end is like this with the bumper across the middle, you have a B6 (this came from a search for 2006 A4 Cab)
If you have this front end you have a B7
But I don't think there is a lot of difference between them

Yes it is a b6 then. Looks exactly like the top one. Thanks for the info. That appears hard to come by and does not reflecct the info in the forum tabs but I beleive this and I could see how the cab may have needed some further work and waited a year. Thanks again.
