My Oil Consumption Test

My Oil Consumption Test
I complained to Audi USA that I had to put 2 quarts of oil in the car between my first oil change with my 2008 CPO car. They scheduled me for the oil consumption test which I did part 1 a couple of weeks ago.
I took the car in today for part 2 and they said that I failed the test and that they were going to order the parts to replace my piston rings. The repair will take about a week and they will give me a loaner car while they do the work.
I don't know exactly how much oil the car burned, but I took it back at about 750 miles and the check oil light was not on. I was surprised that it failed based on what I've read about some of the other experiences on this board.
I'm happy that they are doing the repair as I plan to keep the car for a long time and don't want to add oil all of the time.
I'm at 57,000 miles. Anything else I should ask them to do while they are tearing the thing apart?

I had a 2007 2.0 a week ago...... I just replaced the turbo. A dealer from New Hampshire has re built and re-ringed the engine twice before it got to me. I was instructed by audi to replace the turbo.
I have zero confidence in the repair... Also the tech that did the piston work was a hack. I found loose and missing bolts all over the place.
I wouldn't get your hopes up

Audi doesn't recommend changing it at 115k for mine.

If you have the 1.8 turbo, the recommended timing belt change is 90,000 miles if I remember right, and they mean it. There were many horror stories of the belt breaking just after 90,000 miles and trashing the engine. The 2.0t on the other hand has a redesigned belt and pulley wheels, which reduce wear and the belt can go 115,000 miles according to Audi.
