Default Lock question

Is there a way(like prgramming the autolock speed), to prevent
the doors from being opened from inside (after locked by
autolock/manually)?

This is for cases where child lock (which only disables rear power
windows) is not good enough...

Think I've seen this feature in other cars (Camry ?).

Hmm, I would have guessed that's it's an un-overrideable safety feature.

The rear doors do have a child lock feature. Open the door, and look on the side/edge of the door. There is a slot you put your key in to lock/unlock the child lock feature. Look in your manual. It will tell you how to do it.

If I understand you question correctly, you want to know if it is possible to keep the doors from unlocking when you pull the handle from the inside?

The short answer, aside from the child lock feature, which will do that for the rear doors, is NO. The connection between the lock and the inner door handle is a physical linkage. I suppose if you take your door apart you could potentially disconnect the part of the linkage that unlocks the door but that doesn't sound like a good idea.

Thanks for the reply guys. 02A6Beau, that was what I meant. Now that you explained,
looks like it can't be done.

The child lock feature you guys mentioned is news to me. The only one
I knew of, was the one that disables power windows to rear windows (controlled
from the panel in the drivers door, where the 4 power window controls are also
there).

I checked the manual (and side/edge of rear door), couldn't find it, will look again.

It should be there. It is a round plug with an off center slot in it. The plug is about 1 1/2 inches above the notch in the back side of the door for the latch.
