i usually just use a jack right behind the front wheels and for a lift right in front of the back wheels. make sure the plastic does not bend or anything. sorry but for jack stands i dont really know any good places.

i think he's tlaking more along the lines of a hydrolic...spelling? lift....

if thats the case i'm not totally sure....i'm assuming you can locate the frame and lift it along those lines being that the frame is the storngest point of the car.....but i would generally not lift a car by the frame alone....usually if i'm lucky enough to get a lift availible i use it for things where i don;t need to go near the tires or have to remove them so i lift it via the tires...

anything that needs the removal of tires generally speaking can be done with a jack and jack stands like brakes and suspension and stuff like that just to get them out of the way

i use the lift for exhaust things and fluid changes and stuff like that where crawling under the car sucks

i'm rambling....sorry anyway i hope that helps

I think exactly same! But what you put between your floor jack and the car "skirt", because some gum or polyurethane slice or pad is not very good special tool if you lift the car up from it's own lift points!? Have you any idea or pictures/photos of some useful pad?

if ur really worried about cosmetically damaging the car then i suggest a terry cloth towel between the jack and spot behind the towel.....but i have lifted and placed my car on 4 jack stands with nothing in the correct points and i was totally fine
