LOL, mostly... but if the ones where it accelerates without pressing the gas are correct, that's definitely a problem.

Yes, that and the airbag one post. I would certainly expect my side airbags to deploy if I was hit.

only time i have had the accelerator problems is when i coast for a long way down hill and put it back in drive and hit the cruise...it is strange now that you all mention the acceleration. happened a few times but only when i was hauling butt and put it in neutral to coast.

I have the semi-stalling issue... happens on long drives esp with altitude changes and stress on the turbo as in long drives uphill. Feels like the turbo cuts out completely for a few moments then comes back in and you get a kick in the ***. My car has the STaSIS ecu upgrade so it all has to be looked it. Monday it's going in...

Default Airbag

Airbag complaint is legit. I rear ended a 2004 Nissan Frontier about a month ago. It was an off centered collision. it damaged left side of vehicle. 14k in damage to vehicle and airbags DID NOT deploy. Police and repair shop all agree airbags should of deployed with the force of the impact.

If you remember Fight club at all, recalls on a car aren't that usual.
To perform a recall, they must do the following:

1.) Calculate around how many people could suffer from the problem.

2.) Determine the amount of court settlement costs they will need to pay.

3.) How many cars have they sold?

4.) How much would it cost to recall all of the vehicles in #3.

5.) If the dollar value of #2 is higher than the dollar value of #4, there will be a recall. If #2 is lower, then they'll allow it to happen and pay as needed.

This is the cost of doing business.
