how about this
I just bought a 2005.5 A4 2.0t Quattro with 60k miles. Sport Package, Xenons. In excellent condition (two pencil eraser chips lower and one door ding, paint glossy, perfect interior. Paid $14000
Good deal? It is in good shape, one owner, but does have the high miles.

About 2 weeks ago I picked up a new 2008 A4 3.2 Quattro S-Line, 6-speed with Convenience Package, iPod and Bluetooth for $34.5k. MSRP was $41k, Invoice $39k. Of course there was tax and other fees but I thought I did pretty well getting the dealer price down.

I'm about to get a 2005.5 A4 with 73k highway miles....black on black leatherpre purchase inspected and with nav, bluetooth, adaptive headlights, home link, auto dimming and tilting side view mirrors, tps....sport suspension with the OEM votex body kit....oh and I forgot to mention that it has the APR intake, Exhaust, and 93 chip...with an Ecode test pipe..and 18' OZ ultraleggeras wrapped in BFG kdw2s......all for the wonderful price of 18500.
picking it up this weekend! The miles are a bit high, but for the price and all the goodies...I can't complain....I haven't even driven the car yet...and I'm already smiling!

sounds like you did okay and didnt rip off the dealership (haha) anyway i love my cvt...time will tell if ocadam is right :-) and if he is well i am covered thank goodness with a lifetime power train warranty...the dealer said if the kevlar belts do wear out they are covered under my warranty. cvt transmission is an old invention..know for gas mileage it helps a guy like me who farts around town.
