HP increase after catback???

i dont know how audis work but i dont see why it would be different

The K03 is tiny compared to a T3 in case you haven't noticed, it is even tiny compared to a T28. The inlet to the K03 is the size of a quarter. When you decrease the back pressure of the K03 the WG path ends up having a much lower flow resistance and seeing that the ECU controls the WG more of the exhaust flows thru the WG when the ecu starts to crack it open insteas of going thru the turbo. Now if you use a boost controller (MBC or EBC) you can actually force the WG to stay closed longer and end up not getting that low end tq loss. Believe me people have been testing these things on the A4 well over 10 years.
