You are positive you have the stock tire size? 235/45/17 or 235/40/18
You could modify your tire size ever so slightly if you are really worried about it. Here is a size calc to play with if you like. I'd just be happy not to get a speeding ticket.

Once upon a time, due to German privacy laws, German cars did not come with an EDR (event data recorder). Most, if not all, other cars do. Not sure if that has changed, though.

Thats exactly what I get too. I now know why people were always riding me around town. I always drive a few mph's up now just to make up the difference.

Mkunert you might be right about the box. The guy at the dealership, that I talked to said when wrecked audi's come in with the airbag deployed the only message from the box, or car was "airbag deployed", there was no further info the car supplied.
