I changed the bulbs myself. Went in through the engine compartment, no need to remove bumper. It took about an hour, but if I have to do it again it will take about half that time. I learn slow!
Passenger side, remove the air box and your there. Driver side, remove the power steering and windshield fluid tanks, bend a few brackets and your there.
Beats the heck out of paying the dealer tons of cash for him to do the same thing. I bought the bulbs online for 160.00 for the pair. They work great.

Extending covereage on Bi-Xenon
I got a notice in the mail about some Audi's with Bi-Xenon lamps getting extended warranty coverage, and possible reimbersement for repairs done when the car was under warranty (new or CPO) up to 50,000 miles or 6 years. You should be getting the same thing in the mail soon.

I'm going to call Protech, my local independent, to see if they have experience working with the HIDs and what they're approx. cost for repair is.

....... sure you all no what i mean if u have anything 05.5 -07........
when the hell are they gonna recall thoese lights... thats more of a safe t hazzard then anything........ everytime i go to the dealeship they wanna run that program (whatver they told me).. that would help /fix./////////no!.............like 45$. or 150$.... i did it once and i guess they just smacked the bumper with there hands a couple times cuz it did nothing..... so i no better than to do it again....... why no recall?

So far so good. New lights...no problems for 4 days.
