Guys guess i should clarify..since my retarded audi doesnt show mpg, i have to figure it out...now what i mean by 620 is the miles driven by what the computer says left..if i keep the number on 620 am gtg which is only o/a 36mpg. this means slow starts and not going over 55. Try it sometime. yes of course meant pure unleade. OBTW it is against the law here in alabama the beautiful to sell gas with ethanol in it without a sticker stating so on the pump.

 

36mpg is pretty darn good.. however, you should actually see how much gas you use vs miles driven.. dont trust a computer - they lie.

 

my average per tank is about 27MPG and that is with most of it being the 10% ethanol

 

Showing KPG? You can change this using the wiper stalk interface.

 

My average in the winter is 22mpg. It snows like a **** here in Illinois. Running stage 2+

 

i only use mine on the highway for work. Use my crotch rocket for city use

 

Wow, I am a few tanks into my Audi so far and I havent had a tank over 23 mpg! I found a bunch of leaves and crap crammed in the little metal filter in the intake tubing before the air filter. I just took that think out so we will see but it doesnt seem to help out. If it still sucks I will have to find out why my mpg is so low. I do mostly city driving but I would still think 25mpg should be attainable.

 

Is your cars performance also off? A bad PCV valve can cause poor performance, crummy gas mileage, and some report oil collecting around the filler cap. Audi has redesigned the B7's PCV valve twice because it has been a source of trouble.

 

I have only had the car for a month so I cant say that the performance feels off. It seems pretty good but there is no oil near the cap since the dealership had it all detailed from the start. Is the PCV covered under warranty?
