Default Does a CAI void your warrenty?

I'm new to Audis ... actually i purchased my first one today. 05.5 A4 Quattro.

Would installing a K&N Cold air intake or any similar CAI void the warranty?

Whats the best brands out there.

Looking for something with the box or a separation piece .. like volant or airaid but they mostly deal with domestics...

It can't void your entire warranty, and really shouldn't void any of it, as a CAI isn't going to cause the engine to work any harder. Of course, if something does happen, they might try to use your CAI as an excuse not to do warranty work. But for example if it's a brake problem, they won't say "sorry, warranty void due to CAI."

I don't have a CAI, so I can't speak to whether it's worth it, but from what I've heard probably not, at least not the $400 or whatever for a Carbonio. If you can get one cheap though, might as well do it.
