DIY - Reset learning algorithm for ZF transmission
New to the world of Audi and I must say I like it. Just bought an CPO '07 A4 and love it. One question I have is can you reset the algorithm patterns in the ZF transmission like my 745i?
Here's the instructions form a BMW forum:
Insert the Key to into the key fob (DON’T HOLD THE BRAKE).
Press the Start Button ONCE, just so the car electronics start and show the Engine light is on. (Again, Don’t START the Engine).
Press and HOLD the GAS PEDAL all the way to the force down click on the gas pedal for 25 seconds.
After those 25 Seconds, proceed to Starting the Engine and drive your car.
notice that the car responds better and shifts better
...would something like this work on our A4's with ZF transmissions (I think only CVT tranys are made by ZF)? Has anyone tried?

I'm not sure what your talking about but it sounds very similar to a throttle body alignment,

Is that what your talking about?

Awesome this is what I was looking for. So I've noticed there seems to be a lot of Audi enthusiast forums. Which one would you say is the biggest or best? Any favorites?

audizine.com is probly the biggest but is also filled with alot of younger kids that are big into modding and some can be very immature. Its a good community dont get me wrong, but it seems like alot of them post just to post lol, they are all about searching before posting. There is alot of good information on that forum tho and I'm sure if you need to know something, someone on that forum knows it.
