Default The Dillema, 18s or 19s?

I can't decide which size wheel to get. Can anybody give me some pros and cons of them. I realize that if I get 19s I'll probably have to get some lowering springs for it. Would i need to do that if I got 18s? Would there be a decent sized gap in the wheel well? If I'm going to have to get springs anyways, I might as well get 19s then. Right?

Well, you probably want to keep the same overall diameter to keep your speedo/odo accurate. So if you go up to 19s with a 35 aspect ratio instead of the stock 18/40 you can keep the same diameter. I'd lower it, either way. I've got Eibach Pro-Kit springs, and they're the perfect height.

you dont need lowering springs... for any wheel size it just makes ur car look bad if u put shoes on it and not lower it tho

don;t get spring kits, get a spring+strut kit because lowering springs put added wear on on ur struts and through time they will crap out on u and the warranty will not cover it. if u have the money get coilovers

imo 19's look the nicest on the a4

I noticed a ride quality change from 17's to 18's. Im sure 19's will be much worse.
