Default Chip Upgrade Durability

I have started a thread on the 2.0TFSI forum at audiworld because I was curious how many miles some people have put on their cars while it is chipped. If you have a chipped car and could reply, I would appreciate it. If you aren't a member of the audiworld forums please reply here...I'd like to see as many replies as possible. I think this information would be interesting for all readers.

Thank you

I have APR in my GTI and love it.

My wifes birthday is the 10th and she had a choice of presents. She chose the Diamond Earings over the APR chip for her Audi. Her loss.

I got APR 91 at 12K miles, and I'm now at 15K, no problems.

I believe sending the ECU in is an option, but you can also drive your car to a local dealer and have them do it while it is still on the car.

Yeah, they just plug a computer into your OBD II port and reprogram the ECU.

Well they have a big sale going on right now. Pretty good price compared to their normal prices...

When I got it done I didn't pay for labor... just tax on the price. I guess there must be some labor built in already. :/
