I just bought an 08 A4 V6... two days in I notice the tail pipes have a lot of soot buildup. So I check the oil, and it's on the low end of the range. I haven't purchased a new car in a while, but is it normal to burn some oil during the first few hundred miles?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
