do you know the name of tool that push in the piston in place? as i watch in the tutorial in youtube, ppl have a specific tool to do so.

I believe you can rent a piston compressor kit from someplace like Autozone. I tried the cube attachment and it was a little difficult to both turn and compress the piston. Also I had to modify it to make it work. I finally used my buddies snap-on kit which made it a 5 minute job.

You need to turn the piston all the way in (clockwise) and bottom it out. If it is not all the way in you won't be able to install the new pads.

you shouldn't have to force it, I've seen the cube things but FWIW and for how many brake jobs I will do it is worth the $40 buying the kit....How do you know if it is done right? Well if it is done wrong you are going to need a new caliper @ ~$400 from Audi and that is the only place you can get them from as far as I know...
