Default Deleting phone numbers or entire phone book?

I have a 2008 A4 with Symphony and cell phone package w/ Bluetooth. I use an iphone 3G which works fine, but when it initially uploaded the phone book, it brought over many phone numbers but not all (missing several key numbers I dial all the time), and many numbers that I don't want. I cannot figure out how to delete individual numbers or alternatively, how to delete the entire phone book and re-install/pair my phone with newly edited phone numbers. I can only seem to find instructions on how to delete the voice phone book, not the contents of the uploaded phone book stored in the car. Any idea how to do this? It's driving me crazy! Thanks.

Hey Audi Peeps, I have an 06 A4 Quattro, 3.2 with Bluetooth and it has worked great UNTIL I made the change to Iphone 5. Now, it works, but very intermittent and I'm not sure why. Also, when a call comes it, it comes through the bluetooth, but when I make a call out, it doesn't. Does anyone know if the bluetooth software for the car itself can be updated to a newer version, more likely to work with this new phone. Thought? Ideas? I appreciate any feedback.

Default Delete paired phones

Hello all,
I purchased a used 08 2.0 a4 with symphony/no MMI screen. I recently switched from an Ipone 4 to an Iphone 5. The I5 will not see the audi blutooth? tried several time, tried resetting etc, etc.
I believe the prior owner/s may have had at 3 phones paired with it and my Iphone 4 was the slot available in the car as my undrstanding is that you can only pair 4 phones with the system.
My question is: How do I delete theses old pairings in the car?
Ant help appreciated.

Does anyone know if you can play music off your phone using the bluetooth? Or is it just for phone calls?

Hi everyone! I have a 2009 A8 4,2TDIQ with the MMI. We are experiencing some problems with signal on calls. The phone mated with the MMI is an iPhone 5. Often, when calling from the car, voice will drop out, or sound very metallic-like or the call will end. Following the signal bars in the car, it would seem that this happens as soon as the signal is not at its best

Has anyone experienced the same problems? Does anyone have a fix for this?

playing music depends on what model and year your car is. im not sure when they added the feature but i have a 2008 a4 and it does not play music thru bluetooth, only does voice commands and phone calls.

Same with mine, won't work for bluetooth stream only works for phone calls. My problem was solved when I bought the viseeousa WMA3000A tune2air. It streams music via bluetooth, and has automatic call switching.
