Bitch won't turn over
Good evening fellow Audi fans,
I have a little issue I'm having trouble diagnosing.
A couple months ago I ran out on a quick errand and when I returned to my B7 it failed to start. When the key was inserted everything powered up, when turned the fuel system would prime and when turned to start there was nothing. No crank, no anything.
A few items of note, The vehicle has a brand new battery, it has a brand new alternator, and I have just replaced my starter as I thought that was the issue, unfortunately I have discovered that it was in fact not the starter.
Does anyone have any ideas? I tried jumping the clutch switch with no favorable result, and no matter where I look I can't find a damn thing about a starter relay?
Sooooooo...... Anyone out there have any words of wisdom for someone who is really baffled?

Could the ignition switch be the fault? Maybe (and that is a big maybe) the switch works except when you make the full turn to crank the engine. I agree that it sure sounds like a relay somewhere that went bad. Not sure if there is a fuse that might control the starter. Might check that out as well.
