Default Another Parts list.

Hello everyone,

I have read all the sticky's. Did the PVC myself as well as the diverter valve.
Deployed currently but when I return I have a nice list built that I am going to get installed and was looking for some thoughts on my list. I read all about turbo's and cold air intakes but I guess the salesman sold me on the thought of a larger air box.

Stasis Exhaust
Stasis Street Sport coil overs
APR Test pipe
APR stage 2 ECU upgrade
H&R Front and Rear sway bars
APR Carbonio Intake
Hartman HGTI-139 wheels in an 18" and probably some regular continental all seasons

I need suggestions on what else would be good as far as handling and a good idea for a blacked out front grille.

Thanks in advance,
Miles

Hello Miles,

Seems like a reasonable list of mods. it would help us picture it better, and be responsive to questions if you listed which B7 you have, color, engine and transmission. With the coilovers and upgraded sways you should be pretty set for handling. It is my understanding that the stasis streets are a good upgrade from stock suspension. firms up the ride a bit and gives you better cornering without being too harsh.

can't say that I'm a big fan of the hartman wheels you have picked. IHMO huffs/detroits are strictly a VW wheel. Does not belong on an Audi, but it is your car so feel free to do what makes you happy.

when you say you want a blacked out grill, do you want the Audi ring delete, or do you want to paint over the rings? I've seen some nice ones where they have used a smoked lens paint to cover the chrome color on the rings. You still get some reflectivity from the chrome but it is subdued by the paint.

keep your head down. stay safe

Get the Ebay Test pipe and save money. I would also save on the Carbonio intake. Money would be well spent on the APR rebuilt Fuel Pump and stage 2 Plus tune. My .02 cents.

Sorry about that. I own a dark blue 07' A4 Quattro A/T 2.0T.
Completely stock thus far except for head and tail light and windows tinted and the *** end is de-badged. Left the rings though.

As for the grille I was looking at a few on ECS Tuning and I figure I would rather have something like this...

Audi B7 A4 Quattro 2.0T > Exterior > Body > Grille > ES#11285 DTM Grille & Filler Plate (Phantom Black Perlescent) - 8E0198651SZ9Y

2WD- Did you happen to have a quick link to the Ebay test pipe? I am at work right now and the governments internet service is blocking ebay.

Oh man, cheaper test pipe and scrap the intake, will get me a quarter of the cost for the HPFP from APR. And before you say this, No, I do not think I could survive the amount of time to have mine removed and rebuilt.

Plus I am not needing that level of power, wanting sure, but not needing. Any other suggestions. I am completely open to rim ideas, that is the area with the most options. I wanted 19" but I want no chance of rubbing and really would not like taking them on and off to adjust the suspension if they did rub.

b7 test pipe | eBay

I had bought a cheap Used FP and had it rebuilt by APR. No downtime in the swap. A cheap one can be found on the MKV Forums (Same engines). Usually $100 or less to buy. Then you can keep your stock one or sell it to recoup cost.

Stage 2 will be fine for a while but you may just get used to the power and another 20 more or so is always nice. Enjoy your mods.
