If you don't have the code, it's hard to get it changed. I was told that there are a few other out of the ordinary engine quirky behavior scenario's that might also cause them to replace the parts if the codes aren't present. The service guy just didn't mention what they were. Mine only stumbled 3 quick times at idle in the two months prior to the light, and those were the only telltale symptoms.

Well I mean about a couple days after I got the car I had a few lights come on and the car wouldnt go past like 30 mph and wouldn't accelerate past 4k rpm. I know I had lights on there for sure and i had feul cuts maybe twice since then. I know in the morning or on a cold start the car would crank over. the rpm's would come down and the car wpuld stumble almost like if wants to turn off.I have an appointment with audi in about an hour so ill let you guys know. I have pictures of the cam follower and a copy of the tsb

So basically the dealership wont cover the repairs unless those certain codes come up. I have to wait till the motor messes up which I think is complete bs. If thats the case ima just rag the crap out the car till those codes come up

Im really contemplating on doing the work myself. I really need to know what you guys think about the camshaft. Idk much but it doesnt look bad but I could be wrong lol. The hpfp only a tiny piece of it is missing. Oh and I got my ignition coils replaced
