Hi All,

Can anyone help! As the title says i have what i think is an imobiliser issue. But i would like to have a few things confirmed first.

Within the light switch there is a very small red led that flashes...is this the imobiliser as when i unlock the car using the remote is flashes.?

It will continue to flash with key in the ignition, but erratically!!
to get this to stop i have to unlock / lock the car several times using the remote and the door lock, after a few minutes the led will stop flashing and the car will start.

I have tried a contact cleaner inside the barrell to clean contacts and i thought i had resolved the issue, however weeks passed and back it came.

I know its something to do with the Key and the flashing LED.

any thought would be great...
