Hello forum. 1st post here. I'm here hoping someone can help me in my efforts to replace the 3rd brake light on my GF's 2007 A4.

It is the LED strip. I checked the DIY here and could not locate a DIY for this. I have also searched the web and cannot locate the nomenclature for the LED strip. I found one site only:

But I do not know if this is the correct LED strip.

Any guidance on where to purchase the strip and how to install would be greatly appreciated.

The dealer is wanting $180 to do this and I told her it was an exceptionally high price.

Yeah, that's way too much. You can get the assembly for less than $40 at genuineaudiparts.com (it's under "rear lamps")
