Hi

I have Just picked up my new toy a 2007 3.0l tdi s-line avant with manual box. but have hit a couple of problems that will probably result in a return to dealer for warrenty work.

Firstly it has an intermittent misfire. which ranges from just noticable to being able to feel it through the whole car. No smoke and still pulls well if you give it some but when started from cold unlike other 3.0 tdi audi's I have seen it is lumpy and when driving along if you lightly touch the throttle in any gear it seems to miss a few beats before clearing and pulling well. hard throttle openings it seams to be fine or its just not noticable. To add to this if I stop when it is bad and move the plugs around on the injectors it seems to go away again to just noticeable. Does anyone have any ideas before I have to take it on a 300 mile drive to take it back.

And secondly the interior lights seem to be playing up. I got it home to notice the sun visor mirror lights didnt work and neither did any of the lights in either of the roof panels. I checked through fuses and found the one blown fitted a new one and the mirror light now all working but now when you unlock the car and get in the lights in the back come on and never turn off until you lock the car again (30 min drive and on the whole time) and the ones in the from dont work at all still. when you turn the headlights on the red back lighting does work on both panels. Does this system have another pointless ECU or is it a conventional wiring system. any ideas on what might be causeing this.

Well to follow up on the misfiring issue I plugged VAG COM into my A4 today and check for fault codes and nothing. I then had a look at the measurement blocks 72-77 which I believe relate to the injectors and got the attached below. does anyone know if these look right as I have no reference as to what they should be. or am I even looking at the right measurement blocks
