2.0T Timing belt @ 75k - Has Audi changed their mind again?

I've always changed the oil every 5000. Something about the 10,000 gives me an uneasy feeling. With the cars history of cam follower failure, I would always want fresh oil in the engine. The additives that protect at startup, do degrade over time, or sacrifice themselves to protect the engine at start up. Remember, going 10,000, means you probably will be adding oil between changes, since many of our engines do use oil.

At least the 2.0t doesn't have the sludge problem that the old 1.8t did. Waiting 10,000 miles between changes on that engine increased the sludge problem. Fortunately for us, Audi/VW moved the oil pluming away from the exhaust manifold so the 2.0t doesn't cook the oil like the old engine.
