Im trying to figure out if my clutch was ever changed on my car. I bought the car with 65k and now it has 69k. Clutch still grabs with no slipping under hard downshifts and takeoffs. By "accident" i launched it close to 4.5k and felt slipping. Is this normal for Stage 1 APR tune?

Well since you like to drag race I would suggest going with the Clutch Masters, the Feramic full face disk of the SB OFE/FE can tend to fuse itself to the flywheel if allowed to slip. So your best option would be the FX300 Kevlar or go with a FX400 6 puck.

Smokn944 4500 is a little to high to launch at. I would think that a stock clutch would defenitely slip

I ran my A4 w/CVT using one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqaOOD8U5tE
It seemed pretty accurate, it said I ran a 15.4 @ 93 MPH,2.4 60'

My friend tried it also on his 04 Jetta 1.8 T ,just after going to a track & the times were really close.
