Which is normal for the mods he has. On my B5 A4 1.8t I dropped 2.5 seconds off the stock 1/4 mile time with the stock turbo and am now running over 6 seconds faster then stock, but to drop 6 seconds off stock times I had to make 5 times more power then stock.

I just ran 14.00. All i did was get rid of the crap in my trunk. I was gonna put race gas and run the 100 octane program which would probably put me around 13.85-13.90 but they were out of race gas .
What abouth the stock clutch? How much would it help if I got better one??

Only going to help if the stock one is slipping. When you are ready for one let me know, have some great prices on clutch kits and clutch/flywheel packages for the B7.

Here is a list of time slips from other B7 A4 2.0t owners. http://www.mjbmotorsport.com/sitebui...medatabase.htm

A few in the 13.7's on pump gas. There is even a fully stock car that ran 14.58

Everything with your setup is down to the 60 foot time. Look at that list and look at the stock turbo category and the guy with the best time. He launches hard. You said you had 1.7 60's before. be consistant and hit all your shifts. Does it feel like the clutch is slipping at all?

Where are you shifting? Alot of people shift too high and you are way out of the power band. You should be shifting in the 6500-6700 range as it just does not pull any higher.

I have a question for you RedA4Red, Your running a stock clutch with your setup. How many miles you have on the car? And what Rpm's do you launch at the track?

Mike let me know what u offer for clutches. I am trying to budget things.

Cris, I dont know man. I am looking at my timeslips and some of the numbers dont make sense. My highest top speed the second time I went there was 97. Also my best 0-60 was 1.92 the second time but I still had better overall time. I had some 1.7s the first time I went there. I think my clutch is spinning more now. Not good. As far as shifting, I used to shift a little to high but I realized that it seems to work best right around 6600 like u said.

Smokn944, yes I have stock clutch. I just hit 45k miles this week. Launching varies. I did some research and most ppl say it works best when you launch at 3000-3200 which I did a few times but I think my clutch spins way too much so I've been launching at around 2500 lately, just trying to take it a little bit easier on the clutch which I know for sure I will have to replace soon, just trying to put it off for a few weeks.

Yeah I think you will be golden with a clutch. As mutch as I love driving a stick, Thats one reason I like my CPO cars with auto's. Warranty up to 100k. If it were a stick, clutches are normal wear just like brakes and are not covered.

I love the DSG tranny's that come in GTi's, A3's, R32's and more. You can launch the car by flooring it and holding the brake and it will rev to a pre-set limit like 3500 or something in that range. Release the brake and the car just AWD launches hard!

like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj2lDGvqV1Y or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1vPERMtrjs

Both Auto DSG cars. I love mine but its only FWD. My next cars will be a B8 a4 for the wife and the new R20 for me i think.
