Hi I am currently experienceing some problems with my 03 audi a4 sedan, for the past week for some weird reason every time i turn on my car my windsheild wipers stay up 3/4 of the way up on the windsheild and its a little hard to drive that way.... They wipers still work when on but when turned off they get dont go back to the normal position where they should be, very annoying,has anyone had this problem and if yes what did u doto fix it thanks

 

Sounds like the wiper transmission is faulty, I heard that replacing the wiper motor and transmission at the same time is a smart move, maybe start with the transmission first.

 

before you spend anything try to calibrate the wiper arms , you can take em off and align the way it should be , if that doesnt help then go ahead and spend the time and money on a new trans and motor, ohh yeah you might wanna open the trans assembly up and look at your linkage it might be that one of the links is broken or out of place , itll be cheaper than buying a new assy.
