Since new, my 2004 A4 has had horrible wipers. Replacing the inserts don't seem to help, as we have had the dealer replace them several times while under warranty(free service for 4 years 50K). I bought new Bosch wipers, thinking they were a direct replacement....they are not. The Audi wipers have some funky non-standard attachment. Does anyone know where I can get better replacement wipers for this ride?? Thanks in advance.

 

your 04 should have to aero wipers. buy the entire assembly from dealership, not just the insert. it is possible that the actual arm is bend, causing it not to put down good pressure accross the blade. i use the 04 aero blades to upgrade the older b6's with. never had a problem.

you can make the new blades fit by pintching it with pliers where it attaches to the arm. I dont recomend it but i have had to do it untill i could drive to the dealership. Call audi or go online.

 

Make sure that the pivots where the blades attach to the arms are lubricated and moving freely.

If the pivot binds, the blade will not lay flat.
