Where's the N75 valve/boost pressure convertor?
I've lost power (Limp home mode) I've cleaned, then changed the MAF, no joy. So I've now bought an N75 valve (Also called a 'Turbo boost pressure solenoid' or 'boost pressure convertor'. Problem is I can't find the blinking thing! It should be on top of the intercooler but I can't see it. Is it hidden away there? I have a A4 B6 2002 1.9Tdi 130bhp. Going slightly mad so would appreciate any pointers please. Its clearly visible on the B5 models -left side of engine.

Answer
Limp mode now fixed. Changed MAF, changed N75. Fault wasn't either of these - turned out it was the throttle sensor. Rain water had found it's way down to the throttle assembly (Engine drainage holes were clogged up) Cleaned away oily gunk, replaced sensor and all ok.
Should have guessed -footwell carpets were sometimes damp.
