Two problems at a bad time
Hello all well two problems have arised at a bad time. (edit: fixed the first issue with car not arming.)
Second problem my heating stopped working, it happened a couple months ago and i didnt mind because it was hot but in the winter in las vegas it gets extremely cold at night. the weird thing is when i drove from california to vegas after a hour or two of driving i could turn my heating on and get hot air for about 1 minute then it goes cold again, any idea what it could be? other than that i dont get hot air at all. it was working fine then one day it stopped. i hear the flap moving but nothing happens a thought is maybe it is stuck?

As you stated you might have air in the coolant or a big leak, but the most common issue for no heat is heater core clogged/dirty. If you follow this link it will tell you how to do the flush in one way, with some pictures, and this one will show you how to change the heater core. Try the flush first, see how dirty you are, if it doesn't work or is too dirty, I'd change the core even if it works. Good luck.

I ran my car and took off the cap a couple times to try and get air out didn't make a difference. Ill have to try the coolant flush because it does seem rather dirty. does the water pump affect the power steering aswell?

Turn your fan on inside the car too and see if all the vents are working properly, might be an electronic issue or a broken vent flap. Check under the hood and see if you have hot water flow on both sides of your heater because it is directional.

It's always the worse case scenario, my car was overheating and I replaced the thermostat in vain in hopes that it was stuck shut, but nope the water pump seized. In your case it's probably the heatercore, and all I can say for that is have fun. Unless you have the money to have someone else do it for you.
