Default TSW 19" Rims

I just found a very good deal on a used TSW19" rims which i will put on my A4 B6. my concern is my oem 17" has a 235/45/R17tires. Shall i go for the 235/35/19 or for the wider 245/35/19 or better a 255? how wide can i put on my 19" on a B6 body? thanks

it really depends on how bad the roads are in your area. Also if u want a little stretch on the tires u can go with a 225 35 or even a 215 35. I think im running a 245-35-19 right now now stretch but the roads in my area are pretty crappy and i like to save my wheels from potholes. B6 A4 Wheel Thread - Page 2

thank you for the reply pa4ul, im using a 245/40/19 and its tires are hitting the fender it think on a bump. im planning to get a 245 or 240/35/19. do you experience the same on your 245/35/19, on the freeway at 70-80mph a small bump would make the tires touch the body?

well before i got coils i never rubbed. But now with my coilovers on i get small rubs on bumps at speed. But i also have spacers on my car. I have 12.5 in the rear and 7mm in the front. So my wheels are almost flush to the fender.

meaning i can still stick to my current tire set up of 245/40/19 just install coilovers and spacers? will it solve my problem of tire brushing on the body?
any specific brands that i should use on my b6?

nah u misunderstood me. i was running spacers with my aftermarket wheels. Not lowered on coilovers i never rubbed. Once i threw the coilovers on i began to rub quite a bit in the front and a small amount in the back. there is a bolt in the front fender at that u can remove and that will help stop the rubbing. what size wheel were u planning on running.

im now running on 245/40/19 and its rubbing in the front and back at speeds of 70+ on small highway lumps. so spacers will do the trick?

hmm dont get spacers off ebay. They wont do u right. Plus u will need bolts to match the spacers and the spacers need to be matched properly. Check the site i linked and feel free to ask them questions. They will help u out. OEM / Performance Parts for Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Porsche & Volkswagen - ECS Tuning check here. First off what wheels are u planning on using these spacers on? ARe u quattro or no?
