Timing Belt Replacement (105k miles)
I have a the 3.0l engine and the service light just came on when I hit 105k miles. It's a 2002 model. I have read a lot of material on timing belts going out on this particular model quite earlier than 105k. I also bought this car used about 5k miles ago and the previous owner didn't know if the timing belt had been done. Shoot.
Is there any way I can tell if it has been done recently or if there is wear and tear? It's my gut feeling that it was replaced previously because I've read TONS of stuff on how they go out "early" on this model.
Any help would be super great

there is really no way to tell how long ur timing belt is going to last if you dont know when it was changed! you can look for signs of wear on the belt
( i found this web site to be really helpfull http://www.jeepnotes.com/Default.asp...ookieSupport=1)
...but even then it could go out tomorrow for all i know....
