Default Symphony + aux input

I have an Audi A4 3.0 quattro and I have the Symphony cd/casset/xm sat player in it, I would like to plug my ipod to it as well. Is there a way of doing it? I couldn't find anything online and I appreciate all help coming from you guys.

Thanks

best bet is using ur tape deck. There are other types of adaptors but u have to pull the radio and get an adaptor harness i think. Not to sure on that way ive never gone about doing it that way i just use a tape deck.

Check out 2point5.com

I installed their spec doc interface on my 2002 A4 3.0 about 4 years ago and it's still working well today. The sound quality is good, however no song info is displayed on the headset, but you can scroll through your play list using the headset buttons. I understand that later model A4's may interface better with the spec doc product.

I bought and installed the ashtray mount, but found it difficult to see the ipod screen and push the buttons. I ended up removing the ashtary mount and going with a cable, which exits the center counsel (between the plastic of the console and the carpet) in the area where the passenger's left lower leg would be. Now I can place the ipod in the center console or on the passenger seat, and there's enough cable that I can raise the ipod closer to myself, making it easy to see the screen and work the buttons.
