Aaah! We have thought about the carrier bearing once before but it feels OK. It's not loose.
Both the carrier bearing on the main drive shaft and the differential cost about 3000SEK (~457 USD). So we kind of need to choose wich to change...

Now we are thinking about changing this thing - I don't know what it's called in english http://system.recopart.se/bilder/del...292909_1_G.jpg. We have seen som small cracks in the rubber. Maby that could generate the noise? If it's not "supporting" as it should anymore?

Today we tried to put on some gas when driving on 2nd gear and the noise was there then too.... it can also appear when changing gear (when pressing down the clutch), mostly from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd. Not so much from 3rd to 4th or 5th.

That is a mount of some sort, engine or transmission and they can make noise if damaged or loose. You could check for engine movement when applying power aginst the brakes. A bit dangerous as one person has to look at the engine, while the other tries to drive against the brakes.

Problem not solved yet... Tonight he will change both drive shafts since they are both loose. Even though the left one has been changed into used one and the one that was on the left is not on the right side.

He is worried that the different tier dimension has done harm... how big is that risk?
