Default "Right Headlight Dipped"

So all of a sudden tonight I'm sitting at a traffic light, listening to music, and the sensor goes off - "RIGHT HEADLIGHT DIPPED" and it scared the **** out of me. It flashed so quick I barely read it, but I'm pretty sure that's what it said. I tried googling the problem (I didn't look in the manual, too lazy to scramble around for it in the glove compartment at the moment lol...) but from googling it it seems like a more confusing issue then I thought it would be...

Anyone have any experience with this headlight dipping? Do I simply just need a new bulb? seems more then that...

It means your light isnt working. It could be the bulb or the ballast. Move the good bulb to the bad light and if it works its the bulb. If it doesnt its the ballast.

You would have to scan it. Usually a working light with that fault generally has an issue with the level sensor

ITs either your light or your level motor blew out. best bet is next time the warning light comes on go look at the front of your car.

I did have the same problem LH headlight dipped for a while now,i drives me nuts trying to figure it out.i took off the leveling control unit from the control arm and cleaned it and the plug and then put it back together then when i turn the headlights on they started to move down and then up.i took it to the dealer and they put their computer on it and clear the headlight contol code and everything was good.it will still orks if the xenon ballast is bad, because on my car i only have one hid and a reg bulb.(NO DIPPED HEADLIGHT CODE)
