Default Re-inserting exhaust studs? How?

On removing my inlet manifold about half the exhaust studs came right out together with the nuts.
Is there an official way to refit them? Like with threadlocker or something?

you will need the stud, and to hex nuts,2 wrenches-one must be open box, and socket wrench.

take the stud and screw one of the nuts in backwards so that the flange(or washer part) is facing away from the side of the stud that goes into the head. then screw in the other nut the normal way so the flanges of the nuts are touching each other.

take the open box wrench and the other wrench and turn each nut in oposite directions to tighten each other together. once they are tight to each other, insert stud into head or the exhaust manifold, which ever the stud came off of.

use the socket wrench to tighten it in there.. try to get it in finger tight first, then use socket wrench and tighten it snugly. you do not need to over tighten these as it will pull thread. its about the same force as valve cover bolts or screws.

once they are tight take the open box wrench and hold the nut while you loosen the other with the socket wrench. then remove the backwards nut.

i made a pic in ms paint. the blue thing is the nut installed backwards, the red is the other nut installed right way so they meet.
