Default Porsche turbo twist on a4

I want to put a set of 18x8 and 18x10 twist OEM rims on my 2005 a4 cabrio.

I am concerned about finding thick enough adapters so it will work.

Any experiences, opinions, pics?

I like the look (I realize not all do) and have seen it done before on dubs and Audi alike....but not on a cabrio a4.

Thanks!

Buy them and see how they fit. You can always make them work. I've seen them on b6s and gti's before. Gotta be lowered though. Would look horrible at stock hight

Porsche wheels are a 5x130 bolt pattern, whereas ours are 5x112. How are you going to make that fit? I mean, don't get me wrong - I LOVE the turbo twist wheels (on Porsches), but I don't think they'd fit an A4 without some funky modification of the mounting hardware, plus I personally think they'd look a bit weird with the lines of the car. That said, it's your car, if you like the look and you can make them fit somehow, go for it.

A shop might be able to make them fit by redrilling, or you could buy replicas with the correct bolt pattern.
Also remeber that you can use 5x114.3 lug pattern wheels. All you have to do is drill them to 5/8"nholes and use wobble bolts.

Default Twist on a4

Thanks guys!

I am aware of the 5x112 vs 5x130 - that is not the problem (easy fix w.adapter)

The concern I have is whether I can find a thick enough adapter for the rear wheels (front is no issue)...amd was curious of anyone had done and had the proper fitting.

I like you have seen the on dubs and b6 but only using 4 8x18 (not the mean 18x10 in back).

The look is not for everyone but the concerns about lug pattern and fitment is I e of the reasons they will be so unique NO ONE in my town has done.

Last, yes the car is already lowered!

I am going for it. Time to call the adapter house in NC after lining them up on the sled.

Do it ! Such a clutch wheel to have mounted on our cars. My neighbor brought his turbo twists over the other day since I've been playing with the idea and had them next to my car.

I am with you doz!

I am into the unique and mean look....I know they will look good from side but cannot WAiT to see the car at a rear angle and from behind.

I anticipate some rubbing on those wide rears, but it sounds like you've got a plan for the fitment issues. Here's hoping it works out; I'll be curious to see the pics. Who knows, maybe I'll think it's awesome once I see it.
