Oil cooler/cooling lines going bad?

HAs anyone ever heard of oil cooling lines going bad on a B5? The mechanic had to fix that while he was in the motor rhis week. Any input???

Guess not. Mine was busted inside and leaking. I had oil in my water/radiator fluid. Done deal. Fixed.
