Default Odd Sound while driving; Rough Idle ONLY at start up

Car: 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Tiptronic auto trans.
Mileage: 107,000

Background of the car:Ok, I just bought this car three weeks ago. I knew it was a risky purchase, but when I test drove it and checked everything out, the exterior and interior of the vehicle were in AWESOME shape. The car drove great on the test drive as well, and instantly I fell in love. I got the car for 6800$ which I thought was a 'steal.' The reason I didn't think that it was a bad car mechanically because my dad knew the used car dealership owner, and he had checked out by one of his mechanics, and they fixed any problems with it before we got it for free. This was someone we felt we trusted, which is why we went through with the purchase, plus the price was pretty unbelievable.

Weird Noise: Now, I'm starting to believe the car is going to cost me a A LOT in the future. It's under a 30-day warranty, and already I've taken it back for a bad coilpack, ok, no big deal. But then yesterday I started getting a high pitched-racing noise, similar to that of a remote control car..specifically when I let my foot off the gas and the RPMS came down, or in the lower gears. Car still drove great, and no issues as far as the driving of the car...just a new weird noise.

Rough Idle at start up: The idle is also very rough at start up. When I first start it up, the car kind of shakes, the side-view mirrors vibrate quite a bit, and the RPM's stay a little over 1 for about two minutes.

Any help would be appreciated. I am going to take the car back again before the 30-day warranty is up, I just wanted to see if anyone knew my problems.

Thanks for any help!

may need further coilpacks?

all are free from audi. just call a dealer and go get them for free.

sounds like other things are going on here too. while the car is at audi ask them to look it over and tell you whats up. wouldnt hurt to have peace of mind.

yeah for sure. i discovered something today - when i turn the steering wheel, the noise gets worse..and it gets louder....

i think it may be some sort of belt or something. the used car dealership will look at it tomorrow free of charge, and will still fix it free of charge, so ill go there first.

well looks like you may have been right ^ somewhat at least....

the mechanic said he found a leak in the power steering fluid, but found nothing else. he said he'd check the car once more before i take it back just to make sure nothing else was wrong since i have a pretty rough idle at start up.

The car probably has vacuum leaks. Also, make sure the spark plugs are new, and have the coilpacks recalled.

Oh yeah, change the fuel filter too...

the dealer salesmen told us it was a leak but i spoke directly to the mechanic and he said no leak he made sure before we left. just needed new power steering fluid as it was low, and a quart of oil (i had checked the oil saturday or friday and it was a little low.)...
