OBD II system problem
On my way on vacation my check engine light on my 2004 audi A4 came on. Luckily I had my OBD II tester that I payed 400 dollars for with me. I tried it and it wont work on the Audi. Ive used it on multiple cars(10+) and tried the tester on 2 cars since it wouldnt work on the Audi and it works fine. Do Audis not work with OBD II testers if there not from Audi or something? what does a Check engine light usually represent?
On a side not I have never in my life owned a car that has had so many problems especially in so little time. I have had the car for a little over a year and 45 minutes after I had the car the motor & the turbo blew due to oil sludge? I have replaced multiple headlamp and tail lamp lights repeatedly and the paint on the interior is chipping away everywhere and I dont use chemicals on it. Any suggestions?
