Hi everyone.....

I've owned 9 Audis in my life but am new to the forum. My son is arriving from out of town tomorrow to have me help him with a hopefully simple project - (new rear pads and rotors)on his 2003 A4 1.8L. I've done this on several other cars but the A4 is new to me.

I've searched on this forum for any tips and it seems there may be a trick to either releasing or adjusting the e-brake on this model. However, I can't really find any specific details. We only have a few hours to get this done so I'm hoping someone can confirm or explain what is different about this task and how to avoid getting hung up.
