Need advice on revving between gears (automatic)
Hi Guys,
I recently bought an 02 1.8T A4.
I've noticed that when driving the car it just seems to sound and feel "rough", especially between gear shifts (automatic). It's hard to explain, the car only has 60K miles and I know it is not the tranny slipping.. its more like it just doesn't shift smoothly between gears and maintains its rev for a second too long when shifting up into the next gear. It's very very minor and I only notice it because im being picky - but it doesn't feel as smooth as it should..
Do any of you fellow B6'ers have any insight into this, are all B6's just like this? For such a high end car I would figure it would be much smoother.
I'm thinking it may just need a remap/ECU flash.. or maybe its a Diverter Valve issue?
Any thoughts guys?
Thanks in advance....!
