My nuts are really tight

no, really. I got a flat rear right tire and I tried to change it today. I got the decorative Audi thing off, and reached for that cross-shaped thing that removes the lug nuts. The nuts wouldn't budge so that make me sad-face. Then I put on my trying-face and it is still tighter than a nun's you know what. I even tried using the OEM's nut remover and still wouldn't budge. Anyone experienced this and have a solution?

Your A4 is a B6 and has lug nuts? I thought they were aluminum bolts.
Use the propersize socket with a breaker bar. If you can't put down enough force, put on a metal pipe over the breaker bar. That will give you torque to break even the engine flywheel bolt.
