lovely ride home with 6 codes!!
So i was driving home tonight and when i stopped at a red light i noticed my car was running like crap. I didnt have to far so i kept on driving home hoping to turn my CEL on so i could get a code. Then about a mile from my house my CEL started flashing, i know this means misfire but this felt like way more than just a bad coil pack. So coming up to another red light i notice i have no brakes!!! great! any ways finally make it home alive and got my scanner out and i have 6 codes.
P0171
P0302
P0304
P0303
P0301
P0300
Okay so now i know its a misfire! so i open my hood up and the vacuum hose that connects to my brake booster is not hooked up. Plug it back in and car runs like a champ immediately.
Sorry about the long intro but heres my big question. Are all of these codes from that vac line? and Ive been noticing a lot of sluggishness when my car is up to temp. any one ever had this happen to them?
Any suggestions/comments appreciated!

The first several hits on google for those codes are forum posts from other people who've had vac leaks. P0171 in particular indicates bank 1 too lean, which would mean unmetered air is getting sucked into the system (vac leak) and the others are misfire codes across all 4 cylinders, likely caused by the mixture being too lean.
Make sure all your vac lines are solid and secure, clear your codes, and you *should* be good to go, at least based on what I've read in the past 5 minutes.

It appears when something malfunctions...it brings up codes for all sorts when it tries compensating for whatever is failing...
When my EGR valve snapped off and got lodged in the EGR unit..yes SNAPPED OFF!!!... it brought up 5 codes including fuel misfire?? and some other random crap that wasn't even related to an EGR valve.
seems to me that a rather general fault can appear something far worse at first. n

okay i cleared the codes and everything seamed to be fine. The next day i was driving and the same hosed popped off. Does anyone know why this same hose keeps popping off? its the plastic hose that comes from the vacuum jet pump and goes into the brake booster. It kinda just plugs in there, there isn't any way to clamp it or anything.
