yes but u are basically making the system work harder with the aftermarket intake. Honestly the stock e system audi uses is sufficent in supplying air to the motor. u also lose power when u run a aftermarket intake due to temp increase.

 

isn't that why we have inter coolers and heatshields. i want my dv to be more audible..., i'm really starting to regret getting this car so far the only decent info i have found on this car is to use ngk copper plugs and change them every 4-7k miles.... 2 weeks of searching and that is it. o and how to fix the janky sunroof. i'm currently looking for a decent splitter valve but since every link is broke it is damn near impossible. there is a supposed one on ebay that is just under a 100$ and built the same exact as the forge and not like i'm pushing 30lb's of boost so should i really have to worry about it crapping out right away?? sorry if i seem testy i just can't get any answers i need everything is up in the air. and yes i could just slide in a k&n filter and be fine. but this is my first turbo'd car and flame me for wanting to hear alittle noise from it. so i would love to buy a cai and copper plugs and a splitter valve running 20% atmosphere and 80% recerculation. and i'm nervous as all hell to order some h7 hid because i don't know if it is a direct fit or what since i can't find pictures and if i do have xeonon i don't even know if i can run them...

intake- something to this bullshit effect no idea what all those inlets go to... and obviously need somekind of heat shield since i guess our intercoolers don't cool air.
