How would that make more sense? And why would they go through the effort to bother the DMV for information they already have in their systems? Why would the DMV even let them have access to those records?

Picked up my 2003 last week, the temp gague quit and I stopped at the Audi Dealer to have it checked. They downloaded the computer and then made an appointment for the replacement at N/C and gave me a free loaner while they did the work. Changed the coolant at N/C too!
