I've been looking for an intercooler kit for my 04 a4 b6 1.8t quattro. i don't know if any of the ones i like will fit the front bumper without making fabrications. I want an intercooler kit that will fit without making large visible noticable changes to the bumper, I want the front bumper to look stock without the lower and side grills cut to make the intercooler or piping showing. The intercooler and piping with be painted black to seem invisible because the car is navy blue and the grills are flat black that is a rare s4 lower bumper assembly. I'd really appricate any advice or pictures with other intercoolers on some audi's.

i think there is a brand that will fit without trimming. But dont quote me on it. Odds are there will always have to be a small amount of trimming unless u get a used one that someone has had custom piping done so it will fit perfect. btw where in texas u about?

 

I was born in San Antonio, live in Killeen/Fort Hood but Im on vacation from deployment in San Antonio right now. I think im going to call a couple of places to see how much fabricating needs to be done! what about you!

thanks your my hero ... I just want to keep my car looking as stock as possible but when i get it im spray painting it black so it cant be seen. any recommendations on an exhaust that sounds good with out being loud as hell. right now i have straight pipe which my wife hates the sound of it. also wat about a down pipe and an intake.

Intake or just a turbo inlet pipe?

For exhaust you could just see about adding mufflers to your setup to decrease how loud it is.
